There is something at work in my soul, which I do not understand
Description
This large sepia ink drawing is a visual composite of the things that fascinate me, are my obsessions, passions and desires. It forms a world comprised of dozens of different moments and worlds, some real, some imagined but all inspired by art, culture, history and events that have meaning to me. As with the Archaeology of the Self drawings, recurring themes and favourite motifs appear but at its heart lies the body in all its forms, whether flesh, dissected, fragmented or mythologised and part fantasy. These things that enter my mind and occupy my thoughts appear all at once in one space and somehow work together in their impossible way to create a coherant but imagined place.
